Beslan Bartsits (born twenty two July 1978) is that the current Prime Minister of Abkhaz, having been appointed by President Raul Khajimba on five August 2016. Within the past, he has served as Head of the Presidential Administration, Head of Gagra District and Member of Parliament.

Early life and career

Bartsits was born in Gagra. In 2000, he graduated in Jurisprudence from the Circassian State University, and between 2001 and 2004 Beslan Bartsits  was a post-graduate student at port State University. Between 2007 and 2009, he was assistant to Raul Khajimba in his capability of vice chairman of Abkhaz.

In the Feb 2011 native elections, Bartsits was elective deputy of the Gagra District Assembly in body no. five and have become its Deputy Chairman.
In the March 2012 elections, Beslan Bartsits with success ran for a seat of the fifth convocation of the People’s Assembly of Abkhaz in body no. 11 (Gagra). in a very field of 9 candidates, he obtained a slim first-round plurality with twenty.86% of the votes. Within the second spherical, Beslan Bartsits defeated competition Vitali Azhiba.
In Parliament, Bartsits served as Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Legal Policy, State Building and Human Rights.Beslan Bartsits

Gagra District Head and Head of the Presidential Administration

On twenty two Gregorian calendar month October 2014, following the May 2014 revolution, Beslan Bartsits was appointed acting head of Gagra District by fresh elective President Raul Khajimba. the subsequent year, he was confirmed in his post.
On sixteen could 2016, Beslan Bartsits was appointed head of the Administration of the President of Abkhaz, to succeed Astamur Tania, United Nations agency had resigned.

Prime Minister

On five August 2016, Beslan Bartsits was appointed Prime Minister, succeeding Artur Mikvabia United Nations agency had resigned 10 days earlier.
